Some full-circle moments really don’t miss as Disney Legend Lea Salonga made a rare and remarkable return to Hong Kong Disneyland, headlining Disney Legend Live in Concert Presents Lea Salonga as part of the park’s 20th anniversary celebration.
Salonga was accompanied by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and the Hong Kong Disneyland Band, delivering orchestral renditions of classic Disney songs associated with her career. The performance featured large-scale castle projections, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics synchronized with the music, transforming the theme park’s central landmark into a concert venue for the evening.

The one-night concert highlighted Salonga’s long-standing relationship with Disney, where she is best known as the singing voice of Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan. Her return underscored her continued presence in Disney’s musical legacy, particularly as the park commemorated two decades of operations in Hong Kong.
According to Hong Kong Disneyland, the concert was designed as a special anniversary offering, blending live orchestral music with visual storytelling. The production emphasized both the scale of the celebration and Salonga’s role in Disney history, positioning the performance as a centerpiece event rather than a recurring show.
Photos released by the park showed Salonga performing in front of the castle amid fireworks and illuminated projections, with the orchestra positioned prominently onstage. The event drew attention online, with fans sharing clips and images from the concert across social media platforms shortly after it concluded.
