The Philippine music scene is entering another high point. With OPM artists consistently filling venues, topping charts, and headlining major festivals, 2026 is shaping up to be a strong year for live music. From large-scale OPM celebrations to EDM raves and cross-cultural showcases, these festivals reflect how expansive and confident the local scene has become.
Here is a rundown of the music festivals happening this year.
Hiraya Music Festival & Hot Air Balloon (January 17–18, 2026)
An immersive celebration of Filipino culture, Hiraya Music Festival blends live performances with the visual spectacle of hot air balloons filling the sky. Designed as more than just a concert, the festival invites attendees into a dreamlike space where music, art, and shared experiences come together. The lineup highlights contemporary OPM, with IV of Spades, Flow G, and Juan Karlos headlining Day 1, followed by Rob Deniel and Dionela leading Day 2.
Circus Music Fireworks Festival 7 (January 31, 2026)
Known for its high-energy, all-day party atmosphere, Circus Music Fireworks Festival returns to Bridgetowne Concert Grounds in Pasig with a packed OPM lineup. The event combines live performances across genres with a carnival-inspired theme and fireworks by night. Artists such as Rico Blanco, December Avenue, Cup of Joe, Flow G, Skusta Clee, Sponge Cola, and SUD make this one of the most crowded and celebratory festivals early in the year.
Pulse Rave Festival / #PulseMNL (February 7, 2026)
Pulse Rave Festival brings together the country’s EDM community for a night of immersive visuals and nonstop energy at the Filinvest City Event Grounds. Known for its large-scale production and festival-level staging, Pulse is often positioned as an early-year release for young ravers. Featuring major local and international DJs, it continues to be one of the biggest electronic music gatherings in the Philippines.
Wonderful Moments Music Festival (February 7–8, 2026)
A two-day showcase of Filipino talent, Wonderful Moments Music Festival celebrates the diversity of today’s OPM landscape. The lineup spans rock, hip-hop, pop, and P-pop, bringing together established icons and new-generation acts. Headliners include Ely Buendia, Sarah Geronimo, Bamboo, Parokya ni Edgar, Gloc-9, and Kamikazee, alongside BINI, Alamat, Cup of Joe, Arthur Nery, Adie, Denise Julia, and Dionela.
Wanderland Music and Arts Festival
One of the country’s most anticipated annual music and arts events, Wanderland blends live performances with curated art installations in an outdoor setting. Organized by Karpos Multimedia, the festival typically happens around March, though no confirmed dates have been announced for 2026 as of writing. Known for its mix of international and local acts, Wanderland remains a staple for fans who value both music and visual culture.
ASEAN–Korea Round Music Festival (April 18–19, 2026)
Set at the Araneta Coliseum, the ASEAN–Korea Round Music Festival highlights cultural exchange through popular music. Organized by KBS World, the event rotates among ASEAN nations, with the 2026 edition taking place in Manila as the Philippines serves as ASEAN Chair Country. Admission is free, with advance registration details expected in February. First-wave artists include South Korea’s 10CM and Philippine’s very own P-pop group, HORI7ON.
Aurora Music Festival
Held in Clark, Pampanga, Aurora Music Festival is known as a large-scale OPM celebration featuring pop, rock, and indie artists. While no confirmed dates have been announced yet for 2026, the festival usually takes place between April and May. Alongside music, Aurora often includes food stalls, games, and hot air balloon displays, turning the event into a full-day cultural experience that also boosts local tourism.
Playback Music Festival (May 8–9, 2026)
Playback Music Festival is a nostalgia-driven event built around punk, rock, and emo acts from the 2000s. Taking place on May 8 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila and May 9 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel, the festival features Dashboard Confessional, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Faber Drive. It offers longtime fans a chance to relive the era that shaped their playlists.

With festival calendars filling up earlier each year, 2026 reflects how live music has become central to how Filipino audiences connect, celebrate, and support artists.
