Built for spontaneous café runs and daily caffeine rituals, HanapKape turns every “tara, kape!” into something a little more efficient.
Some people plan their day around meetings. Others plan it around coffee.
That’s exactly the kind of habit HanapKape is built for. Developed by Filipino creator Mark Aldrin Lastica, the web-based app focuses on one thing: helping you find your next cup without overthinking it.

Open the app and it immediately works like a locator. It uses GPS to show nearby cafés, along with distance, estimated travel time, and directions you can follow on the spot. It’s the kind of setup that works best when you’re already halfway out the door and just need to decide where to go.
HanapKape pulls together over 660 drinks across major chains. You can sort by price, type, or what’s commonly ordered per store, which helps narrow things down when everything starts to look the same on a menu board.

The app also lets users log their own entries, save go-to drinks, and keep track of past orders. It functions like a running list you can return to, especially when you already know what works for you.
HanapKape is still a work in progress, with pricing, location accuracy, and store data continuing to expand. A mobile version is also in development, alongside plans to build a wider, user-driven database of cafés across the country.
In a place where coffee runs happen as often as commute stops, having everything in one place changes the routine just enough. You still get your cup—just with fewer steps in between.
