The roll of waves leading to “Sandali” is rising in real time as Cup of Joe has confirmed that a new EP is on the way—timed ahead of their upcoming concert this May.

The announcement came during the band’s press conference for their fourth major concert, set at the Philippine Sports Stadium. Alongside details of the large-scale show, the Baguio-based group shared that new material will be part of the setlist, with unreleased tracks from the Sandali EP set to be performed live.

The concept of the Filipino word “sandali,” which can pertain to the words “moment” or “wait,” became the inspiration for “Sandali” in the EP, which was initially released in September 2025, ahead of their sold-out three-day ‘Stardust‘ concert at the Araneta Coliseum in October 2025.

The EP will be released ahead of the concert, marking their second extended play following 2023’s Patutunguhan. While the track list and official release date have yet to be announced, the timing positions the project as a key part of the festival experience.

During the same press conference, the band also acknowledged their longtime concert director, Paolo Valenciano, who continues to lead the creative direction of their live shows. Valenciano has worked with the group since Seatbelts On, their first major concert, shaping how their performances translate from studio to stage.

Ambisyoso po kami pero mas ambisyoso si Direk Paolo,” His continued involvement in SANDALI Fest points to a consistent approach in how the band builds its live identity—one that connects their music releases with the scale and structure of their concerts.

With a new EP and a major show aligned in the same rollout, SANDALI Fest is set to introduce the band’s next chapter in both sound and stage.
