Hev Abi Camp Denies Allegations After Arrest

Hev Abi’s camp denies allegations tied to his QC arrest, saying legal counsel is now working with authorities on the case.

Hev Abi’s camp has issued a statement denying allegations linked to his recent arrest in Quezon City.

In a statement released by his label, Urban Department, the camp described the incident as a “misunderstanding” and said they “categorically deny any and all allegations” related to what transpired on April 14, 2026.

They also confirmed that legal counsel is currently working with authorities “in finding a solution,” while expressing gratitude to supporters who continue to stand by the artist.

The statement comes after police confirmed that Hev Abi was taken into custody following a reported disturbance along Timog Avenue. A complaint was filed at the scene, with authorities initiating processing as details of the incident began circulating online.

As of writing, full details regarding the case and potential charges remain limited, with no additional statements released beyond the initial response from his camp.

Hev Abi is part of the local hip-hop scene, with releases that have circulated on streaming platforms. He was also scheduled to perform at the upcoming UP Fair: Kalyetunes on April 17, the same day he was arrested.

Updates are expected as more information becomes available.
