Sparkle stars Will Ashley and Mika Salamanca have denied the speculations surrounding their recent Bangkok trip as netizens thought that the post was a hard launch of their rumored romantic relationship. 

Mika and Will were recently spotted in Bangkok, Thailand, where they were both wearing the country’s school uniforms while taking photos of one another.  

Pinoy Big Brother alums expressed how surprised they were to witness the reactions of some netizens as they were simply doing a trend on social media.

In an exclusive interview, Will has shared that alongside MIka, some friends joined the said trip. 

“Masaya kasi kasama din namin yung ibang friends namin, so talagang naikot namin yung Bangkok tapos nakakain din kami ng masasarap na food,” he underscored.

When regarding the alleged “hard launch” as labeled by fans and netizens, the two brushed it off and maintained that they were just following a trend.

“Parang nakita lang namin talaga ni Mika as a trend, sobrang cute din nung trend, so ayun, sakto, may malapit sa amin na uniform na nagr-rent, so tinry lang namin,” Will shared.

“Di naman,” Mika added. 

Their trip to Thailand was one of the two trips where netizens spotted them together. Previously, The two were seen in Hong Kong as their photos were leaked on social media. Similar to their trip to Thailand, the Kapuso actress’s manager maintained that they were with their friends as well.
