M2Chella lands at Ayala Malls Market! Market! on May 16–17, featuring live acts and more alongside art stalls and DJ sets.
Former ENHYPEN member Heeseung is officially entering his solo era. On May 11, BELIFT LAB confirmed that the idol—now promoting under the stage name EVAN—is currently preparing new music targeted for a June release. The agency added that further details regarding the debut will be announced at a later date.
The announcement arrives roughly two months after Heeseung’s departure from ENHYPEN, a move that generated intense reactions across the K-pop community earlier this year. BELIFT LAB previously stated that the artist would be leaving the group to pursue a different musical direction and solo career while remaining under the agency.
Shortly after his departure, Heeseung launched new social media accounts under the name EVAN, signaling a distinct artistic reset from the idol image closely associated with his years in ENHYPEN. Fans quickly began speculating about what his independent sound and creative direction might look like outside the group’s established identity.
During his time in ENHYPEN, Heeseung was widely recognized not only for his vocals and performance skills, but also for his growing involvement in songwriting, composition, and production through tracks such as “Highway 1009” and “Dial Tragedy.”
For many longtime fans, though, the upcoming debut feels less like a complete reinvention and more like the continuation of an artistic identity Heeseung had already begun hinting at in recent years. Just this time, entirely under his own name and individuality.
