BINI formally honored by the House for Coachella debut

The nation’s girl group BINI was officially recognized by the House of Representatives for historic Coachella achievements.

On May 18, 2026, Pinoy-pop (P-pop) powerhouse girl group BINI made an appearance in the House of Representatives, where the House formally recognized the group for their historic Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026 debut.

In honor of the eight-member girl group’s achievement, the House adopted House Resolution (HR) No. 93, formerly known as HR No. 1001, recognizing the significant contribution of BINI to the international music scene. To add, the House Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander Marcos III stated that the House isn’t only celebrating BINI’s success, but showcasing the Filipino talent in music and recognizing the global reach of the Original Pilipino Music, also known as OPM. 

BINI members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena received their copies of HR No. 93 in the House.

On April 10 and April 16, 2026, BINI made herstory as the first all-Filipino group to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2026. The girl group performed their hits “Pantropiko,” “Salamin,  Salamin,” and “Karera” for a global audience, giving them a wide glimpse of pure Filipino talent and creativity.
