Carmelle Collado Drops ‘Morena’ MV and Morena Girls Are Feeling Seen

The former PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate enters her music era with a glossy confidence anthem dedicated to morena beauty.

Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 alum Carmelle Collado is stepping into her pop girl era with the release of the official music video for “Morena,” her first original single under Star Music.

Released by ABS-CBN on May 26, the track puts morena beauty front and center through vibrant visuals, affirming lyrics, and a playful Y2K-meets-summer aesthetic.

The music video leans into warm palettes, beachy styling, glossy glam shots, and carefree barkada energy, creating a feel-good anthem that celebrates confidence and self-love. Carmelle herself described the song as something dedicated to morena girls who deserve to feel beautiful exactly as they are.

Online, fans quickly connected with the message. Clips from the MV started circulating across TikTok and Facebook shortly after release, with netizens praising the representation and calling the track “pang-main character ng summer.”

The release also marks Carmelle’s first major music move after her stint inside the PBB house, where viewers first got attached to her charm and easygoing personality. Now, she’s channeling that same energy into a more personal and empowering sound.

With “Morena,” Carmelle joins a growing lineup of young Filipino artists embracing identity-driven pop music that feels light, catchy, and proudly rooted in representation.

Prior to her appearance in the PBB house, Collado was a “The Voice Kids Philippines” contestant, and returned for “Tawag ng Tanghalan: The School Showdown,” and landed the first grand champion award.
