LEVITICUS is officially hitting the Philippine cinemas

The psychological horror film, directed by Adrian Chiarella, will be available in cinemas nationwide for Filipino viewers.
With new releases being screened in cinemas recently, horror films continue to find a strong audience amongst Filipino moviegoers.
SM Cinema announced on its social media pages the screening of the psychological horror and drama film LEVITICUS.
“If an entity took the form of the person you desire most… would you still be able to run?,” SM Cinema wrote in the caption.
The film follows two teenage boys who must overcome entities that take the form of the person they desire the most. It also touches on themes of boys in a coming-of-age scenario and exploring their sexualities.
Netizens expressed their excitement for the announcement. “LEVITICUS PHILIPPINE RELEASE CONFIRMEDDD FILIPINO GAYS WONNNNN,” a user expressed their excitement over the upcoming film. Another user quoted, “half the box office for Leviticus will probably come from the Philippines cause there’s surprisingly big hype for it locally.”

LEVITICUS will hit cinemas nationwide this July 1. Showtimes and ticketing details are yet to be announced.
