Joseph Marco has once again opened his home to a kitten in need, adding another rescued feline to his growing family of cats.

The actor recently shared that he took in a kitten he found sitting on top of a vending machine. The tiny cat was severely dehydrated, and for Joseph, walking away was not an option.

With the latest addition, Joseph is now caring for 19 cats, a number that reflects just how deeply his love for animal rescue has grown over the years. He has previously rescued cats from the streets and brought them home, turning his space into a safe haven for animals that needed a second chance.

Joseph’s journey as a cat dad actually started unexpectedly. In an interview, he recalled that he once viewed cats as pests, until he rescued a kitten that was drowning. Caring for the kitten changed his perspective, eventually leading him to fall in love with cats and make rescue part of his life.

His rescue stories have continued to surface over the years. In 2025, Joseph also adopted a stray kitten he found near the location of his taping for I Love You Since 1892, describing the kitten as weak from hunger and thirst.

For Joseph, however, adopting a cat is more than simply bringing home a new pet. He sees it as taking responsibility for a life that needs help.
