Still on a high from last weekend’s Purveyr Fair, we wanted to round up some of the booths and pieces that stood out to us. With so many creatives in one space, these were the ones we kept coming back to because of their unique style, fun details, and overall vibe.

A vibrant take on nature and everything growing. Art by Pia Garcia immediately catches your attention with its striking colors, intricate details, and, of course, fish. We loved how she plays with color without taking away from the little details in each piece. There’s so much going on, but somehow everything works together.

MISS B0TA

Bringing the heart of Cebu to Manila. MISS B0TA had some of the most special and intricate pieces at the fair, but the tilapia skirt was definitely the star of the booth. The whole collection had this coastal feel that we couldn’t stop raving about. It was unexpected, playful, and so distinctly its own.

The Learning Lab

Taking scraps of fabric and making something beautiful out of them. The Learning Lab is all about patterns, reworking, and sustainability, turning leftover materials into pieces that feel completely new. We loved seeing how much character could come from something as simple as fabric scraps.

PAPAYA

All handmade, with the cutest patterns and prints. PAPAYA’s booth was full of fun pieces, and we especially couldn’t get enough of the cow prints. Everything felt playful without trying too hard, with the kind of pieces that instantly make an outfit more fun.

R2R

All we can say is: palengke core is back.

We were obsessed with R2R’s fruit bags, from rambutan and banana to watermelon and pineapple. They even had weighing-scale keychains! The whole collection felt like a playful take on something so familiar, turning everyday Filipino market staples into pieces we actually want to carry around.

ANIMARA

A soft girl take on high fashion. ANIMARA had us looking twice at every silhouette, especially the intricate details, ribbons, and bows. They take traditionally feminine elements and really run with them, creating pieces that feel romantic but still bold.

MIEL

Taking hand-drawn to the next level. MIEL creates wearable, hand-drawn pieces out of reworked clothing, giving each one its own personality. We loved how the drawings make the pieces feel personal and a little unexpected, almost like wearing a sketchbook.
