Laughter, kilig, and some revelations took the spotlight last night during Gandang Gabi Vice’s episode with JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith. 

After GGV’s iconic return just this month, the duo who is famously known as JMFyang, were next to guest on the show. They followed Alden Richard’s pilot episode guesting, which earned praise from netizens after a memorable stint.

The on-screen pair easily carried their chemistry along with them, as immediate questions of their relationship took the center stage. It started when Vice asked Fyang if she liked JM during their time at PBB, her answer was immediate, saying that JM has been her “happy crush”.

But that was not all too, as JM revealed in the episode that  he wanted to take Fyang out after their time in PBB, adding more kilig to their on-screen team up. The Unkabogable Superstar then asked if both of them were already official.

Fyang was quick to answer, saying that they are not official yet, but they are enjoying their time together and where they are at in their journey. “Hindi namin siya minamadali“, the actress said. Fyang also added how “Gusto namin i-enjoy muna yung journey namin, ng magkasama of course.”

Even if that was not the answer that most fans might have wanted to hear, both were vocal with their feelings for each other—Fyang saying that she is already in love with JM, while JM was also explicit with his feelings, especially his admiration towards her.

The episode ended on a good note, highlighting the loveteam’s dynamic both on-screen and in real life—full of chemistry, protecting each other, and showing up even in the most mundane moments. 

The pair’s candidness, whether in humoring themselves or speaking their truth, has shown us what it truly looks like when the partnership is rooted in looking out for each other. 

Who knows? Maybe JMFyang might just go from reel to real in no time.
