Rave and Lance Grips Onto Love in Upcoming BL Series ‘Coach Me Maybe’

Fake romance and sports? Catch Alpha and Romeo’s story in PH’s first ever vertical BL series 'Coach Me Maybe.'

A BL series where fake dating goes wrong but something still feels right? We are seated! Watch the romance unfold in iWant’s upcoming vertical BL series Coach Me Maybe, starring PBB Celebrity Collab 2.0’s Rave Victoria and rising actor Lance Jeremy.

Directed by Theodore Boborol, the director of Forevermore and Ang Mutya ng Section E, comes a story of unraveling love when Alpha (Lance), the arrogant Judo champion asks the bookish Romeo (Rave), into a fake relationship in order to woo his ex. But feelings entangle them both, resulting in a more complex connection than they planned.

While the story revolves around Alpha and Romeo, the story isn’t complete without its supporting ensemble. Alongside Lance and Rave, Inigo Jose, Rhianna Santiago, Josh Worsley, and Ian Lubrica are some of the up-and-coming stars to look out for in this series.

Streaming exclusively on iWant, Coach Me Maybe will be the first vertical BL series in the Philippines. Alongside previous queer shows like Gaya Sa Pelikula, Gameboys, and The Marahuyo Project, Coach Me Maybe hopes to contribute towards better visibility of the LGBTQIA+ community in the country by creating an accessible show through short-form videos on an online app.
