By participating in the ZEENfluential voting initiative (the “Voting Program”), you (“the Voter”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These provisions are designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and the highest standards of integrity in the selection of ZEENfluential winners.

1. Eligibility and Voting Rules

• 1.1. Voting is open to individuals aged 16 years and above. Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
• 1.2. Each individual is permitted one (1) valid vote per category throughout the official voting period.
• 1.3. The use of bots, scripts, VPNs, proxy servers, duplicate accounts, or any automated voting mechanisms is strictly prohibited.
• 1.4. By casting a vote, each participant declares that they are a human voter, submitting votes personally and truthfully.
• 1.5. Any misrepresentation of identity, falsified credentials, or use of AI-generated or automated systems shall result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action.
• 1.6. ZEEN reserves the right to verify voter identity through reasonable methods (e.g., email confirmation, IP tracking, device ID) to ensure authenticity.
• 1.7. The Organizer’s decisions on all matters of eligibility, vote validity, and final tallying shall be final and binding. No correspondence or appeal will be entertained.

2. Selection Process and Weighting

• 2.1. Winners will be determined through a combined scoring system:

70% Public Votes – verified votes submitted via ZEEN’s official platform.
30% Editorial Votes – determined by the ZEEN Editorial Team based on authenticity, cultural relevance, and overall impact.

• 2.2. ZEEN reserves the right to disqualify any nominee or voter engaged in manipulation, bias, or misconduct.
• 2.3. In case of a tie or anomaly, the ZEEN Editorial Team’s decision shall prevail.

3. Vote Counting, Validation, and Transparency

• 3.1. Only votes cast through ZEEN’s official voting platform will be counted.
• 3.2. Votes undergo verification and anti-fraud validation, including timestamping and device tracking.
• 3.3. ZEEN reserves the right to withhold or adjust results should discrepancies or irregularities arise.
• 3.4. Final results will be released exclusively on ZEEN’s official channels.

4. Data Privacy, Marketing, and Research Consent

• 4.1. ZEEN collects personal data (e.g., name, email, location, and voting behavior) solely for verification, analytical, and research purposes.
• 4.2. All collected information will remain confidential, securely stored, and processed under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and other applicable data protection laws.
• 4.3. Use of Data: By voting, participants grant ZEEN permission to use non-identifiable, aggregated data for:



Marketing insights and audience behavior research;
Improvement of ZEEN’s content, services, and events;
Statistical and demographic analysis for future campaigns.

• 4.4. Marketing Communications:By participating, voters consent to receive promotional emails, newsletters, and campaign updates from ZEEN. Voters may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
• 4.5. ZEEN will never sell, trade, or disclose personal data to external entities unless legally required or with explicit user consent.

5. Community Conduct and Integrity

• 5.1. All participants must engage respectfully and in the spirit of creativity and community.
• 5.2. Harassment, hate speech, defamation, or cyberbullying toward ZEEN, nominees, or other voters will not be tolerated.
• 5.3. Violations may result in disqualification and permanent banning from future ZEEN activities.

6. Non-Disparagement Clause

• 6.1. By participating, voters agree not to post, publish, or communicate any defamatory, false, or disparaging statements about ZEEN, its management, employees, partners, or nominees across any medium.
• 6.2. This includes but is not limited to social media, press, blogs, and online forums.
• 6.3. ZEEN reserves the right to take legal or corrective action against individuals or groups found to be engaging in such conduct.

7. Brand Protection and Legal Rights

• 7.1. ZEEN reserves the full legal right to protect its brand, intellectual property, and reputation from acts or statements that may cause damage or public harm.
• 7.2. Any coordinated attacks, misinformation campaigns, or malicious actions designed to undermine ZEEN’s integrity may result in legal proceedings and liability for damages.
• 7.3. ZEEN may, at its discretion, remove content, suspend accounts, or ban users found to be acting in bad faith.

8. Understanding of Intent and Spirit

• 8.1. The ZEENfluential are conducted in the spirit of fun, creativity, and recognition.
• 8.2. The program is designed to give the youth a voice to celebrate influence, originality, and positive impact in culture.
• 8.3. Voting and participation are meant to be inclusive and uplifting, reflecting ZEEN’s mission to celebrate this generation’s power to shape the future..

9. Liability and Force Majeure

• 9.1. The Organizer shall not be held liable for technical errors, unauthorized access, or disruptions during the voting process.
• 9.2. ZEEN reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the voting process at any time due to force majeure or compromise to system integrity.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved in the proper courts of Taguig City, Philippines.

By casting your vote, you declare that you are a human individual, that your participation is voluntary, and that you fully understand and accept these Terms and Conditions.
