Angela Ken and indie-pop favorites Over October are kicking off 2026 with a collaboration fans have been waiting for. Their new single, “Moved On Last,” drops on January 21 at 9 PM and promises a blend of intimate lyricism and warm, reflective melodies. Early teasers shared on social media show Angela singing the pre-chorus before being joined by Over October, giving fans a sneak peek of the emotional and musical chemistry between the two acts.

Both artists come into the collaboration with strong momentum.  Angela Ken, who first gained attention with her viral hit “Ako Naman Muna,” had a productive 2025, releasing singles like “Pwede Bang Mamaya” and “Kulimlim”, along with a studio cover of Ebe Dancel’s “Bawat Daan”, all of which performed well on streaming platforms. 

Her collaboration “Sikulo” with Maki and Nhiko Sabiniano was also featured on the soundtrack of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 rom-com Love You So Bad, . Angela’s signature style—honest, confessional lyrics paired with catchy indie-pop melodies—makes her the perfect match for a collaboration built on emotional resonance.

Over October also had a milestone 2025. The band released tracks like “Dahan”, “Bitin”, and “tulad ng dati” featuring Ena Mori, while also collaborating internationally with American duo Fly By Midnight on “The Weather.” Their year was capped by being named the first fan-voted headliner for Spotify Tatak Pinoy Live on Vibe, and celebrating their 11th anniversary with a free concert at the SM Mall of Asia Amphitheater, which sold out within hours. Known for their warm, textured sound and ability to connect deeply with listeners, Over October brings both emotional depth and melodic hooks to the collaboration.

The combination of Angela Ken’s intimate storytelling and Over October’s signature indie-pop sound makes “Moved On Last” a collaboration that’s more than the sum of its parts.
