Filipino singer-songwriter Angela Ken returns with a softer, dreamlike confession in her newest single “baka bukas”, released on March 13. 

The track marks the “Ikatlong Kabanata” or third chapter of her current musical storyline, continuing the narrative thread that has been unfolding across her recent releases.

Known for acoustic pop anthems that feel like diary entries, Angela takes a slight sonic detour here. “baka bukas” leans into a more atmospheric alternative pop sound, trading bright guitar lines for lush production that feels intimate and expansive at the same time. The result is a track that feels less like a declaration and more like a quiet conversation with hope.

At its core, the song captures the patience of a hopeless romantic. Its lyrics acknowledge the weight of the present while clinging to the possibility that tomorrow might finally bring clarity, healing, or love.

The official music video also premieres on March 13 at 6 PM under Tarsier Records, expanding the visual storytelling behind this new chapter.
