​Facing the painful, recurring weight of resurfacing emotions, Angela Muji once again brings her beloved character to life with the release of “Is It Over?”, the latest official soundtrack for the hit Viva One series Dating Alys Perez.

​Serving as the direct sequel to the massive Wattpad hit adaptation Seducing Drake Palma, written by popular online author Ariesa Domingo under the pen name beeyotch, Dating Alys Perez picks up four years after the events of the original story.

The story finds Alys working as a successful pastry chef in the United States, carefully building a secure and peaceful life alongside Tripp, the cousin of her former flame, Drake Palma.

​However, her sense of stability is thrown into chaos upon returning home after years abroad. Though Alys believes her heart is safe, crossing paths with Drake Palma (played on screen by Rabin Angeles) immediately revives old attachments and unresolved feelings. This unexpected reunion blurs the boundaries between her present relationship and past love, thrusting her into an emotionally complex love triangle.

​”Is It Over?” serves as the musical voice of that internal turmoil. The track delves into the lingering, unanswered questions that arise when a relationship enters a state of limbo. Marked by mounting uncertainty, the song captures Alys’ struggle as she reminisces about past promises, bargains to repair broken bonds, and searches for closure when a sudden change of heart leaves her completely confused.

​Crafted to reflect the series’ deeper themes, the OST was composed by Decky Jazer Palomares Margaja. The poignant lyrics were penned by Cristanto B. Aquino, who also served as the director for the Viva One screen adaptations of both book installments.
