The purple ocean is getting a sleek new look—and yes, your shelf (and your heart!) officially needs this crystal-clear upgrade.
The countdown to the Arirang era just got a lot brighter as BTS has officially unveiled the fourth version of the Army Bomb, the group’s legendary official lightstick. The announcement, which dropped via their official YouTube channel on Thursday, offers a first look at the sleek redesign that will define the visuals for their upcoming world tour.
Breaking away from the more industrial silhouette of previous versions, the Version 4 Army Bomb features a crystal-clear circular globe with a floating BTS logo suspended inside. The internal logo is designed to light up in a spectrum of vibrant colors, synchronized via Bluetooth to create the immersive, crowd-synced light shows that have become a staple of the group’s live experience.
The lightstick reveal comes as the group prepares for a historic global rollout. Their highly anticipated new album, Arirang, is set to drop this March, marking their first major musical statement of the year.
While the Arirang World Tour officially begins this year, the Philippine leg is currently scheduled for two massive shows in Manila in March 2027. Despite the distance, local fans are already bracing for “ticket wars,” ensuring their new lightsticks are ready for when the purple ocean finally hits Philippine shores.
