BIGBANG Hard Launches their Upcoming 20th Anniversary Concert

BIGBANG announces a 20th anniversary world tour, bringing one of K-pop’s most defining acts back to the global stage.

Two decades in, BIGBANG is returning to the stage with a move that pulls their legacy into the present: a 20th anniversary world tour.

Performing at Coachella’s Outdoor Theatre during the festival’s second weekend members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung have also made the announcement, placing one of K-pop’s most influential groups back in motion, stunning fans across regions and are already anticipating how the tour will unfold.

“This year marks BIGBANG’s 20th anniversary… we have a special announcement,” member G-Dragon told the roaring crowd. “The BIGBANG 20th anniversary world tour begins in August,” he added.

Known for shaping the genre’s global expansion, BIGBANG’s return to a large-scale live setup carries both history and expectation.

The group’s catalog spans multiple eras, from early hits that defined second-generation K-pop to later releases that expanded their sound and reach. A world tour tied to their 20th year positions those tracks within a live context once again—this time with a legacy already cemented.

Details on stops and dates are yet to be announced, but the fact alone has triggered a wave of reactions online, with longtime fans and newer listeners converging around the news.

The tour signals more than a milestone. It places BIGBANG back into active circulation, reconnecting their past work with a present-day audience that continues to grow.
