BINI and SB19 Are Taking Your P-Pop Fandom on the Road
- August 13, 2026
The latest look at the animated film teases a friendship-driven adventure inspired by Filipino mythology.
Being a fan can sometimes literally take you places.
The Department of Tourism is tapping into the global reach of P-pop with dedicated tourism microsites for BINI and SB19, giving fans another way to discover the Philippines through two of the country’s biggest music acts.
If you’ve already memorized the choreography, streamed the albums on loop, and tracked every overseas schedule, what’s one more thing to add to the stan agenda? An itinerary, perhaps.
The microsites bring together tourism content connected to BINI and SB19, alongside destination information and travel offerings from the DOT.

It’s part of a bigger push to make Philippine tourism more digitally accessible and to meet potential travelers where they already are: online, scrolling through content from the people they follow.
For BINI, the partnership builds on the group’s role as tourism ambassadors and their growing international presence. Their individual backgrounds and hometowns also offer different entry points into the country’s regions, giving fans more personal reasons to explore beyond the usual tourist stops.
SB19 brings a similarly massive international audience to the table. With A’TIN extending beyond the Philippines and the group regularly performing overseas, its tourism partnership gives international fans another reason to put the country on their travel wish list.

The DOT’s strategy simply taps into an existing dedication of the fandoms. A BINI fan might start by looking up the members’ hometowns. An A’TIN might discover a Philippine destination while browsing SB19 content. And suddenly, a saved post becomes a possible weekend trip—or, for international fans, a reason to finally book that flight to Manila.
At its core, the initiative connects two things that already travel well together: Filipino culture and Filipino fandom.
The Nation’s Girl Group and Mahalima’s reach is being used as a bridge between those audiences and the country they represent. Your next P-pop rabbit hole might lead somewhere unexpected. You came for the music. You stayed for the fancams. And now the algorithm is telling you where to go next.
