BINI drops the bubbly single “Unang Kilig” with a star-studded MV also with surprise B-side track "Honey Honey.”
BINI is serving double the sweetness for fans.
The Nation’s Girl Group just dropped their newest single “Unang Kilig” alongside a surprise companion track, “Honey Honey,” pairing a star-studded music video with a stealth release that caught BLOOMs completely off guard.
Released on March 5 at 9 PM PHT, “Unang Kilig” leans into the group’s signature bright, bubbly energy. Written and produced by Jeremy Eriq Glinoga, the song is a playful bubblegum pop anthem about the unmistakable rush of falling for someone for the first time.
Its catchy Tagalog lyrics and retro pop groove tap into the sweet uncertainty of early romance, with the girls asking for a sign from a crush before getting lost in the moment together.
But the real spectacle arrives in the music video.
Directed by Amiel Kirby Balagtas and produced by YouMeUs MNL, the MV unfolds like a colorful film set where each BINI member takes on roles behind and in front of the camera. The concept doubles as a tribute to the legacy of Star Cinema, recreating iconic moments and lines from beloved Filipino romantic films.
Among the highlights are playful reenactments from classics like She’s Dating the Gangster, Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang?, Love You to the Stars and Back, and I Love You, Hater.
Each sequence is elevated by surprise appearances from film and TV personalities including Charo Santos-Concio, Cathy Garcia-Sampana, Olivia Lamasan, Vhong Navarro, Richard Gutierrez, Gerald Anderson, and Ogie Diaz.

The MV’s theatrical staging, colorful choreography, and ensemble cameos give it a lively musical theater feel that fans have compared to the energy of classic teen movie musicals.
While “Unang Kilig” carries the cinematic spectacle, BINI also slipped in a surprise. Dropped quietly alongside the single was “Honey Honey,” a laid-back B-side that contrasts sharply with the maximalist energy of its counterpart.

Also produced by Jeremy G, the track blends bubblegum pop with city pop textures, lo-fi guitars, and airy production that gives it a dreamy, almost spa-like vibe.
Where “Unang Kilig” is rooted in OPM nostalgia and Filipino film culture, “Honey Honey” leans global. With English-heavy lyrics and a chill, minimalist groove reminiscent of their international-facing releases, the track hints at BINI’s continuing push beyond the local scene.
Together, the two songs showcase the group’s growing range. One celebrates the unmistakable kilig of young love through a tribute to Filipino cinema, while the other explores a smoother, modern pop sound aimed at a wider audience.
