BINI Jhoanna Asks What’s Worth Burning in ‘Burn Theory’

BINI’s Jhoanna sparks a digital bonfire, inviting BLOOMs to incinerate past heartbreaks and curate new worlds from the ashes of lessons.

Jhoanna Robles has given Blooms a question, and they have a lot to say. The BINI leader recently introduced “Burn Theory,” a new creative project marked by a simple line: “Curating worlds, piece by piece.” So far, Jhoanna has kept its details close, allowing the concept to take shape through fragments rather than a full explanation.

Her first offering, “Burn Theory Asks 01,” arrived on X with a question about the chapters of our lives that were difficult to go through but eventually left us feeling grateful.

Blooms shared stories about heartbreak, loss, growing up, mistakes, and experiences they once wanted to leave behind but eventually learned from. What started as a prompt became a small archive of personal stories, with strangers opening up to one another in the replies.

The format of Burn Theory remains unclear. Naturally, Blooms have already started guessing, with theories ranging from a podcast or conversation series to something more visual and intimate, or even a new business venture.

For now, these are only theories. Jhoanna has yet to reveal exactly what Burn Theory will become.

Jhoanna’s public life is usually defined by rehearsals, performances, interviews, and the demands that come with leading one of the country’s biggest pop groups. Burn Theory feels like a room for reflection rather than the usual promo rollout we see. The response from Blooms also suggests that the project may be as much about community as it is about Jhoanna herself.

Whatever Burn Theory eventually becomes, Jhoanna appears to be giving herself space to explore outside the usual boundaries of a BINI release. For now, she is letting the world unfold the same way she promised: piece by piece.
