BINI Takes ‘Sama-Sama Tayo’ All the Way to No. 1 on iTunes

On screen and off screen, there's a certain charm that Belle Mariano exudes, something that her fans are always looking forward to.

BINI continues to make waves beyond the P-pop scene. The group’s latest single, “Sama-Sama Tayo,” has reached No. 1 on the iTunes Philippines chart, adding another milestone to its growing list of achievements.

Released on November 3 in partnership with the Department of Tourism (DOT), the track pays tribute to the 48th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits held in Cebu on May.

Its lyrics center on togetherness and a shared future, reflecting the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairship theme, “Navigating Our Future, Together.”

The official music video, released on October 31, features Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena recording the song, alongside visuals highlighting destinations across the Philippines.

The release is another opportunity for BINI to bring its music to audiences beyond its established fanbase. Earlier this year, the group was named a Philippine Tourism Ambassador alongside fellow P-pop act SB19, with both groups tapped to help showcase the country through music and popular culture.

BINI’s latest chart milestone comes amid an increasingly visible year for the group. From making history as the first P-pop group to perform at Coachella to bringing Filipino music to international audiences through its ongoing activities, the eight-member act continues to widen its presence.

With “Sama-Sama Tayo” reaching the top of the local iTunes chart, BINI adds another win to its growing run, this time with a song that carries a message of unity beyond the stage.
