BLACKPINK returns to the Met Gala 2026 carpet as Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé each deliver distinct “Fashion Is Art”
The members of BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé each made separate appearances at the Met Gala 2026, collectively forming one of the night’s most talked-about group appearances despite walking the carpet in individual looks and at different moments.
Each member interpreted the “Fashion Is Art” theme through their own fashion houses and creative direction, resulting in four distinct visual narratives that are still read as part of a larger cultural moment.
Jennie arrived exuding dazzling chic with a Chanel piece designed by Matthieu Blazy, presenting a look that emphasized precision tailoring and controlled shimmer, reinforcing her long-running association with the house and her consistent red carpet identity built on restraint and detail.

Jisoo brought Dior’s romantic codes forward, appearing in an embellished, dainty floral-leaning ensemble that balanced softness with construction, continuing her evolution from brand ambassador to established Met Gala regular within the luxury circuit.

Lisa delivered one of the more sculptural fashion statements of the night, appearing in a highly constructed couture look that emphasized movement and form, aligning with the gala’s push toward fashion as wearable installation.

Rosé opted for Saint Laurent’s signature minimal edge, using a streamlined silhouette and pared-down styling to highlight proportion and presence, proving that restraint can also function as a visual impact on a maximalist red carpet.

Across their individual interpretations, BLACKPINK’s presence underscored a recurring Met Gala pattern in recent years: global pop figures operating within separate creative frameworks while still generating a unified cultural moment on the carpet.
The result was not a coordinated debut or group-first milestone, but a convergence of four distinct fashion identities that continue to shape how K-pop intersects with high fashion on one of its most visible stages.
