BLACKPINK’s Lisa to Star in Netflix Rom-Com Inspired by Notting Hill

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is set to star and co-executive produce a new Netflix romantic comedy inspired by Notting Hill, marking her latest move into acting alongside upcoming projects like TYGO and a solo documentary.

BLACKPINK’s Lisa is officially taking over Netflix with a rom-com inspired by the 1999 classic Notting Hill. While details about her character are under wraps, fans can expect her to embody that iconic “superstar meets ordinary world” energy.

Lisa isn’t just starring—she’s co-executive producing the film alongside Alice Kang, showing she’s calling the shots both on-screen and behind the camera.

The film is written by Katie Silberman, known for hits like Booksmart and Set It Up, and produced by David Bernad.

This rom-com adds to Lisa’s growing on-screen portfolio, which includes the action-thriller TYGO, a spin-off of the Extraction universe, and a solo documentary in development with Sony Music Vision.

On the music front, Lisa keeps slaying: BLACKPINK’s new mini-album Deadline drops February 27, following her solo debut Alter Ego, which topped Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart.

Lisa proves she’s not just a K-pop icon—she’s a multi-hyphenate powerhouse in music, film, and production.
