CreaZion Studios and iWant Open Call for  ‘True Manila Encounters’

iWant and CreaZion Studios are looking for real-life horror stories for their upcoming anthology, where true encounters are turned into on-screen terror.

CreaZion Studios, in partnership with iWant, is now accepting submissions of real-life horror experiences for its upcoming anthology series #TrueManilaEncounters, a project built around true accounts of fear, disturbance, and unexplained encounters.

The series aims to adapt firsthand or verified stories of supernatural events, eerie coincidences, and unsettling real-world experiences into dramatized episodes set in Manila and other locations across the Philippines.

We will look at the uniqueness of the story. At the same time, you know, the feeling too if it is an authentic experience. Alam mo feeling? Reading the first sentence of it, tumatayo na balahibo mo. You know there is something,” Real Florido, chief content officer of CreaZion Studios, said.

From late-night encounters that don’t make sense, to places that feel “off” without reason, the project is seeking narratives rooted in lived experience that blur the line between memory and something harder to dismiss.

Selected submissions may be developed into scripted episodes as part of the official anthology lineup.

“No matter how short the story is, we can expand from there and see how we can creatively touch on a visceral experience for the audience,” he added.
