Dolly de Leon Joins Netflix’s ‘Feral’ as ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ Gets Renewed

Dolly de Leon is keeping her international screen presence growing, with a new Netflix series and a returning Apple TV project lined up. The Filipina actress has joined Feral, Netflix’s upcoming darkly comedic survival drama, as Elena. The casting news arrives alongside the renewal of Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, the Apple TV series where she plays Detective Sofia Gonzalez.

With both projects moving forward, de Leon is taking on roles that let her explore different corners of the screen, from a dangerous tropical-island survival story to a detective navigating a case full of dark comedy.

Based on Shirley Conran’s bestselling novel Savages, Feral follows four women who accompany their mining executive husbands on a corporate getaway to a tropical island. When the men’s shady business dealings put everyone in danger, the women must learn to survive the jungle and one another.

The project adds another international production to de Leon’s growing filmography, following roles in projects such as Triangle of Sadness and Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender.

De Leon’s Apple TV series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed has been renewed for a second season. The dark comedy thriller stars Tatiana Maslany as Paula Saunders, a newly divorced mother who becomes entangled in a blackmail scheme while investigating a possible crime.

That kind of role offers a different perspective on Filipina representation onscreen, allowing a character to be defined by her professional authority and personality rather than by a familiar set of stereotypes. Apple TV has yet to announce a release date for the second season.

De Leon continues to build a varied body of work across film and television. Her role in Triangle of Sadness brought her wider international recognition, and her subsequent projects have continued to place her alongside established names in global productions.
