‘Goblin’ star Gong Yoo to hold first-ever Manila fan meeting

After years of captivating audiences through his iconic K-drama roles, Gong Yoo is finally meeting his Pinoy fans as part of his first Asia fan meeting tour.

After years of stealing hearts through hit K-dramas, Gong Yoo is finally making his long-awaited trip to Manila.

Management SOOP, the actor’s agency, announced on Instagram that the Korean star will embark on his first Asia fan meeting tour, “The Long Take,” with Manila included among its stops.

 

The Philippine leg joins a lineup of cities including Jakarta, Yokohama, Bangkok, Macau, and Seoul, marking Gong Yoo’s first-ever fan meeting in the country.

 

“The journey begins,” the agency wrote alongside the tour announcement, which also featured a handwritten letter from the actor thanking fans for their unwavering support and expressing his excitement about finally meeting them.

While ticketing details and the exact venue are yet to be announced, fans are ready to welcome the actor to the country.

While the organizer has yet to announce the venue, ticket prices, and selling details, the announcement has already generated excitement among Filipino fans who have waited years for the actor’s first local fan event.

Gong Yoo remains one of South Korea’s most beloved actors, best known for portraying Kim Shin in the hit fantasy drama Goblin, which also gained a strong following in the Philippines through GMA’s Heart of Asia. His acclaimed filmography also includes Coffee Prince, Train to Busan, and Netflix’s Squid Game.
