The “WilBears” can finally breathe and officially say “hi” to a more golden hue of the University Series!
After months of endless manifestation and waiting game for any hints, the digital fever pitch broke when Wilbert Ross posted a reel of him with Bea on his back, cheekily captioning it: ‘Hola bienvenido a España!’
Accompanied by co-star Bea Binene, series director Victor Villanueva, the prod has officially touched down in Spain to film the highly anticipated “Spain Arc” of the hit series Golden Scenery of Tomorrow.

This international move is a direct response to the show’s undeniable gravity. Fans of the series and the lead pair have been maintaining a relentless buzz, with “GSOT IN SPAIN” on the tenth spot of today’s trending list on X (formerly known as Twitter) as of writing.
The series has also been extended with three more episodes on its way, shifting the story from the familiar campus hallways of UST and UP to a global cinematic scale.
As the fifth installment of Gwy Saludes’ sprawling University Series which has collectively amassed over 695 million reads, Golden Scenery of Tomorrow carries a heavy legacy.
Now on its 16th episode, the Viva One series centers on the magnetic, slow-burn romance of Avianna Diaz and Larkin Sanchez, lifelong best friends whose bond is tested by the crushing weight of sudden fame and divergent ambitions. Taking their journey into the grand architecture of Barcelona allows the series to evolve alongside its audience, transitioning from the “micro” drama of student life into the complex, “macro” realities of adulthood and entertainment industry.

The palpable, “no-filter” chemistry between Wilbert and Bea has turned the show into a multi-platform experience that transcends the traditional TV screen. While the Philippines remains their primary stage, the duo has mastered the art of feeding their community with candid content and travel reels that blur the lines between scripted drama and real-world charm. One thing is certain: the scenery is indeed looking golden, cementing the show’s status as the definitive “Main Character” of the 2026 TV season.
