JMFyang Is Back with ‘Will You Fake Marry Me?’ Season 2

On-screen partners Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra are set to reprise their roles as their popular series returns for another installment

Fans of Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra have reason to celebrate as their popular digital project, Will You Fake Marry Me?, officially returns for a new season.

Following their post-PBB rise and successful onscreen transition with their first major digital series Ghosting as an official love team and their film Almost Us, the duo is set to reprise their roles in the ABS-CBN Studios and Playtime Entertainment production.

Directed by Jojo Saguin, the microdrama series follows the duo as they navigate the chaotic, banter-filled setup of a fake marriage, with Fyang Smith starring as June Sampaga and JM Ibarra as Ping Nabong. Building on the strong fanbase the pair established through their online interactions and joint projects, the show’s renewal comes after high viewer engagement during its initial run, which originally premiered on iWantTFC.

Their chemistry as “JMFyang” continues to be a driving force behind the show’s success. Off-screen, the pair previously confirmed during an interview on the podcast Oh My Gan! that they are in the ligawan stage and taking things slow while achieving their dreams together. The upcoming season promises to expand on their characters’ fake-relationship dynamic, bringing more comedic situations, lighthearted drama, and classic romantic tropes to their audience.

With production underway for the new installment, Smith and Ibarra are ready to pick up where they left off, delivering the same easy rapport and natural charm that drew viewers to the series in the first place.
