It’s happening IRL — literally.
JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith are officially reuniting on the big screen, and yes, the JMFyang love team is alive and thriving. The duo is set to star in an upcoming film titled IRL, marking their latest project together and sending fans straight into meltdown mode.
The announcement dropped via a collaborative Instagram post from Project 8 Projects, Regal Entertainment, Lunchbox, and director Dan Villegas. Within minutes, the comments section turned into a full-on fan celebration, with JMFyang supporters claiming the moment across social media.

Audiences also got an early tease during the premiere night of Shake, Rattle & Roll, where a sneak peek of IRL was shown. Fittingly, both JM and Fyang were part of the film’s cast, making the reveal feel like a reward for fans who’ve been following their journey since day one.
While details about the film’s plot, characters, and release date are still under wraps, the buzz is already loud. IRL marks the love team’s first collaboration under Dan Villegas, adding a fresh creative layer to their evolving screen partnership.
Before IRL, JM and Fyang starred together in Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins (2025 segment) and the supernatural romance series Ghosting, projects that helped solidify their chemistry beyond reality TV and into scripted storytelling.
The pair first captured public attention on Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11, where their natural dynamic quickly turned into a fan-favorite connection. Since then, their transition from housemates to on-screen partners has been steady — and increasingly intentional.
For now, fans will have to wait for more details. But one thing’s clear: JMFyang isn’t just a moment — it’s a love team entering its IRL era.
