Joaquin Arce recalls calling Lella Ford “babe” during Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0 at his Thanksgiving party with fans.
Fresh from his stint on Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab 2.0, Joaquin Arce gathered supporters for a Thanksgiving party in Quezon City on March 14 to personally thank the fans who backed him throughout his journey inside the house.

But amid the games, performances, and fan interactions, one story quickly caught the attention of supporters of LelQuin.
During the event, Joaquin confirmed that he did call fellow housemate Lella Ford “babe” during one of their role playing activities inside the PBB house, a moment that fans have continued to talk about long after the season ended.
According to Joaquin, the moment happened while they were reenacting a part of housemate Marco’s life story and discussing how Marco’s parents addressed each other.

“Pinag uusapan namin how do we address each other. We were asking Marco, ‘How do your parents address each other?’” he recalled.
Leaning into the role, Joaquin decided to improvise.
“Acting ako na, ‘Okay I’m Marco’s dad and I’m gonna call her babe.’”
However, the actor admitted the moment may have caught Lella off guard.
“I did call her babe. I felt like she didn’t know that I was acting,” he said, sharing that he eventually explained to her that the line was part of the scene.
The story quickly drew cheers from the crowd, many of whom have closely followed the dynamic between Joaquin and Lella, collectively known by fans as LelQuin.
The pair became one of the most talked about friendships inside the PBB house, with viewers often pointing to their easy chemistry and playful interactions as reasons behind the pairing’s popularity.
Outside of sharing stories from the show, Joaquin spent the celebration bonding with supporters through games and TikTok dances. He also performed his current favorite track, “Pag Ibig ay Kanibalismo,” and joined fans in dancing to a trending TikTok song.
At one point, Joaquin also spoke about his hopes as he continues pursuing acting after the show.
“As an actor, I really wanna work with as much actors as possible. Different actors, different experiences. It’s like having different friends,” he said.
Among the performers he hopes to collaborate with in the future are his fellow housemates, including Lella, Anton, Marco, Krystal, and Caprice.
While LelQuin supporters continue to celebrate moments between the two, both Joaquin and Lella have consistently described their relationship as a genuine friendship formed during their 127 days inside the PBB house.
Still, if the cheers at Joaquin’s Thanksgiving party were any indication, fans are more than ready for more LelQuin moments in the future.
