Kilig overload as GMA Exec Nessa Valdellon reveals that JP Habac will helm the debut project of Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales.
A familiar name in coming-of-age storytelling is stepping in for the first on-screen pairing of Gen Z rising stars Caprice Cayetano and Heath Jornales.
Nessa Valdellon, senior vice president of GMA Public Affairs and an executive at GMA Pictures, confirmed that acclaimed director JP Habac will helm the upcoming series starring the two, collectively known as CapEath.

Habac is best known for directing the popular films I’m Drunk, I Love You and Ex Ex Lovers, both praised for their grounded take on relationships and youth-driven narratives. His involvement suggests a similar emotional depth for the upcoming project, which is being positioned as a teen offering.
In a post, Valdellon shared, “Who better to direct CapEath’s first series than a director known for coming-of-age love stories? JP Habac… will helm our upcoming teen offering.”
She also revealed that the project’s creator and writers are Gen Z participants from Neil and the drama team’s Big Idea Workshop, highlighting a younger creative voice behind the series.
The show will also feature Marco Masa and John Clifford, who previously appeared alongside Cayetano and Jornales in PBB Collab 2.0.
While further details about the plot and release date have yet to be announced, the combination of a fresh pairing, a Gen Z-led writing team, and an established director positions the project as one of GMA’s notable upcoming youth-oriented offerings.
