Just when fans thought they had figured out the meaning behind the dried leaf emoji that recently appeared across his social media pages, Justin De Dios finally revealed what it was leading to.

The SB19 member announced that his new solo single, “Dahon,” will be released on June 19, marking his first solo music release of 2026. The announcement arrived through a simple post on X, accompanied by the song title, a leaf emoji, and its release date. 

For longtime followers, the reveal felt like the payoff to weeks of subtle teasing. Justin had previously added the dried leaf emoji to his Instagram username, sparking speculation among fans about a possible comeback. 

“Dahon” continues Justin’s growing body of work as a solo artist. He made his solo debut in 2024 with “Surreal,” followed by “Kaibigan” later that year. In 2025, he collaborated with dwta on “Sampung Mga Daliri,” further expanding his musical identity outside of SB19’s group releases. 

The release also comes amid a busy year for the P-pop star. Aside from his activities with SB19, Justin will have recently appeared in Maki’s “Habangbuhay Pansamantala” music video and joined the cast of Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre as the Devas gatekeeper Ec’naad.

While details about the track remain under wraps, the title alone has already sparked curiosity among fans. A dahon, or leaf, often symbolizes growth, change, and new beginnings—ideas that seem fitting for an artist steadily carving out his own creative path.
