Kathryn Bernardo has reached another career milestone but this time in Madame Tussauds context.

The actress officially unveiled her Madame Tussauds figure during a launch event at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati, becoming the youngest Filipino to receive the honor from the world-renowned wax museum. Her figure, affectionately called the “Kath-twin” by fans, will be displayed permanently at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong beginning July 17.

Madame Tussauds recreated Bernardo’s appearance at the 2023 Seoul International Drama Awards, where she received the Outstanding Asian Star award. It features the exact custom gown designed by Filipino fashion designer Martin Bautista, down to its asymmetrical silhouette and high slit, faithfully capturing the look she wore on the international stage.

Bernardo now joins a select group of Filipinos whose likenesses have been immortalized by Madame Tussauds. The roster includes Pia Wurtzbach, the museum’s first Filipino figure unveiled in 2019; boxing icon Manny Pacquiao; Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray; Broadway star Lea Salonga; and actress-host Anne Curtis.

What makes Bernardo’s induction particularly significant is the timing. At 30, she became the youngest Filipino to receive a Madame Tussauds figure—a recognition that reflects more than a decade of success as one of the country’s biggest box-office stars and most recognizable television actresses.

Fans hoping to meet the “Kath-twin” can visit Madame Tussauds Hong Kong starting July 17.
