On February 20, global girl group KATSEYE announces that Manon will take a temporary but indefinite hiatus to prioritize her physical health and mental well being. 

KATSEYE shared the update with HYBE and Geffen Records after what they called “open and thoughtful conversations.”

The group backed Manon’s decision and made their stance clear. They will continue all scheduled activities and stand by her until the time feels right for a return. No date has been set, signaling that recovery comes first.

Manon quickly reached out to fans herself. On Weverse, she reassured EYEKONS that she feels healthy and okay, thanked them for checking in, and said she is taking care of herself.

She admitted that some things unfold beyond control but said she trusts the bigger picture and cannot wait to see everyone again.

As Manon steps back, Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Megan, and Yoonchae will carry the stage as five. KATSEYE keeps moving, but they do so with one message front and center: support their member, protect her peace, and wait for the right comeback.
