Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles just dropped their pre-wedding film, and it is pure cinematic fun. Released on February 7, A Mermaid’s Dream turns their real-life love story into a whimsical underwater fantasy with a very KimJe twist.

The four-minute film casts Kim as a mermaid and Jerald as a diver who meet beneath the sea before drifting to shore, where romance takes over. Shot with freediving sequences and sunlit beach visuals, the film is set to JVKE’s “Golden Hour.”

The twist lands at the end. The elaborate mermaid storyline is revealed to be Kim’s imagination while swimming in a pool, with Jerald snapping her back to reality.

Behind the scenes, Kim and Jerald performed all underwater scenes herself without AI, with Kim training extensively to swim in a custom mermaid tail. An AIDA-certified freediver and certified mermaid, she brought real skill to the production.

The release comes ahead of their March 1, 2026 wedding. Kim and Jerald first met in 2014 while starring in Rak of Aegis at the PETA Theater Center and got engaged in 2024 on the same stage where their story began.
