`M1SS Jade So Represents PH in Drag Race Down Under

The Drag Race Philippines Season 2 star is set to compete against queens from across the global franchise.

M1SS Jade So is set to represent the Philippines in Drag Race Down Under vs. The World, becoming the latest Filipina queen to compete on an international edition of the Drag Race franchise.

The upcoming spin-off will bring together drag performers from Australia, New Zealand, and other countries across the franchise, with Jade So joining the lineup as the Philippines’ representative.

Her casting marks another milestone for Drag Race Philippines, as she becomes the fourth alumna from the local franchise to compete internationally, following Marina Summers, Eva Le Queen, and Minty Fresh. Jade So is also the first queen from a non-inaugural season of Drag Race Philippines to secure a spot on a global Drag Race competition.

Known for her high-fashion aesthetic and larger-than-life persona, Jade So first rose to prominence on Drag Race Philippines Season 2. Alongside Bernie and Captivating Katkat, she made history as one of the franchise’s first transgender women contestants.

Ahead of her return to the competition stage, Jade So teased what fans can expect from her next chapter, describing it as an “evolution from dollification to goddessafication.”

As she prepares to compete against queens from around the world, Jade So aims to spotlight Filipino drag excellence and bring the spirit of the Filipino community to an international audience.
