Fans of the well-known indie film, I’m Drunk, I Love You, have another reason to revisit the fictional pairing of Dio and Carson.

At a live script reading at Kamuning Film Club, OPM stars Maki and SB19 Justin took on the iconic lead roles from the 2017 movie, Dio and Carson, originally played by Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador. Alongside them were content creator Yani Hates U as Jason Ty; actor Benedix Ramos as Pathy; and I’m Drunk, I Love You director JP Habac as the narrator and other characters.

Kamuning Film Club, which was behind the event, teased that an online version is in the works, sparking excitement from Jah-Maki fans, as well as Zushis and A’TINs. The live script reading was part of their activities for Pride Month.

I’m Drunk, I Love You follows the story of two college best friends, Dio and Carson, who went on their last road trip to La Union before graduation. Carson’s feelings for Dio were unveiled, and the venture forced their unspoken feelings.
