A queer ghost story, a colorful ensemble, and a whole lot of camp, Multwoh (Patay na Patay Sa’yo) is bringing an eclectic cast to the upcoming CinePanalo Film Festival 2026.

Directed by Rodina Singh and led by Sassa Gurl, Multwoh follows a college queer who suddenly dies and returns as a ghost, not for revenge, but to finally confess the words they never got to say: “I love you.” Singh has described the film as a queer ghost story that blends romance, horror, and comedy. With its playful premise and campy energy, the film brings together familiar names from comedy, drag, television, and Philippine entertainment.

Sassa Gurl

Sassa Gurl leads Multwoh while also taking on her first executive producer role for the project. Known for her comedic personality and larger-than-life presence, Sassa brings both humor and heart to the film’s queer supernatural story.

Joao Constancia

Joao Constancia joins Sassa as the film’s leading man and love interest. His character becomes the person the ghost is determined to reach, setting up the film’s mix of romance, supernatural chaos, and comedy.

Inah Evans as Azon

Inah Evans takes on the role of Azon, adding another colorful personality to the film’s eccentric ensemble and its supernatural world.

Phi Palmos as Chona

Phi Palmos plays Chona, bringing his comedic and theatrical energy to the film’s campy mix of characters.

Iyah Mina as Gloria

Iyah Mina portrays Gloria, adding her own distinct presence to the film’s lively and unconventional ensemble.

John Lapus as Judith

John Lapus steps into the role of Judith, bringing his signature comedic timing to the supernatural comedy.

Yani Villarosa as Celia

Yani Villarosa plays Celia, adding another vibrant character to the film’s cast. 

Rounding out the ensemble are Mae Paner, Buboy Villar, Pipay, Gaia Polyhymnia, Jervi Wrightson, Christian Antolin, Lui Manansala, Sofia Trazona, Arman Salon, Sophie Prime, Chino Liu, Tart Carlos, Eric Fructuoso, and more.

For Arman Salon, the film also marks her first film, adding another milestone to the project’s growing list of firsts. Meanwhile, Sassa Gurl stepping into an executive producer role marks a new chapter in her career beyond performing.

The diverse lineup brings together performers from film and television alongside influencers and other personalities, with most of the casts are transwomen, giving Multwoh a cast that feels as unexpected as its story.

With its mix of established performers and fresh faces, Multwoh is shaping up to be one of the anticipated entries in CinePanalo Film Festival 2026 starting September 23 to October 4, promising a blend of comedy, horror, romance, and queer storytelling.
