NCT DREAM’s maknae Jisung is stepping back into acting as he joins the cast of Crash Season 2, an ENA drama about a Traffic Crime Investigation team tracking down criminal cases on the road. The news of his role has already sparked excitement online as fans anticipate his screen return.
In the upcoming season, Jisung will play Ji Dae Sae, the youngest member of the TCI team. His character is skilled in martial arts like taekwondo and hapkido, and while he carries a confident and sharp exterior, he also hides emotional wounds beneath the surface.

Crash first premiered in May 2025 and quickly became one of ENA’s most popular dramas, praised for its suspenseful storytelling and fast-paced crime narrative. Season 2 is expected to continue the momentum, blending returning characters with fresh faces like Jisung to raise the stakes for the series’ loyal viewers.
Recently, Jisung shared a personal update on the Bubble app last Wednesday. He revealed that he had a script reading for Crash Season 2 and he expressed how lucky he felt to be surrounded by such kind and talented people. He added that he learned a lot from the experience and promised fans that he will continue to grow.

Long before his music debut, Jisung already had acting experience as a child. He appeared in dramas such as Tree With Deep Roots and the film Unbowed, where his natural charm and emotional subtlety were already evident. Nearly a decade later, he returns to acting with far more experience, confidence, and stage presence, making this comeback a highly anticipated moment for fans and drama enthusiasts alike.
With Crash 2, Jisung is stepping into a new chapter of his career, showing that his talents go beyond dance and performance. Audiences are ready to see a different side of the NCT DREAM member, and his role promises to be both exciting and memorable.
