The singer-songwriter is turning her advocacy into action with a new nonprofit music fest dedicated to celebrating women.
Olivia Rodrigo is taking her advocacy beyond the stage.
The Grammy-winning artist has announced Daisy Chain Fields, a nonprofit music festival featuring an all-women lineup and a mission centered on supporting women and girls. The event is set to take place on August 29 at Great Park in Irvine, California.

Leading the lineup are Chappell Roan, KATSEYE, Mitski, Doechii, Garbage, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold, The Breeders, Die Spitz, Eli, Not for Radio, and Quiet Light. The festival will also feature special appearances from Karen O, Sarah McLachlan, and Stevie Nicks.
Speaking to Pitchfork, Rodrigo described Daisy Chain Fields as a longtime dream project. She shared that she wanted to create a space that celebrates women while giving younger generations access to role models and communities that champion female empowerment.
More than a music festival, Daisy Chain Fields aims to blend entertainment with advocacy. In addition to live performances, attendees can expect educational resources, immersive art installations, and community-focused experiences designed to spotlight organizations working to support women and girls.
All net proceeds from the event will be donated to groups advancing women’s rights and opportunities. The launch of Daisy Chain Fields marks the latest chapter in Rodrigo’s growing advocacy work, which has often focused on issues affecting young women.
