SB19 Releases Simula At Wakas: Kickoff Concert Album From Two-Day Sold-Out Philippine Arena Show

SB19 officially released Simula At Wakas: Kickoff Concert Album on January 30, offering fans a full live recording of their record-breaking kickoff concert at the Philippine Arena.

The album documents the group’s two-night performance, which drew an estimated 110,000 attendees across both dates, making it one of the largest concerts by a Filipino act to date. The release serves as a live companion to SB19’s third EP, Simula at Wakas, which concluded the group’s trilogy era in early 2025.

The concert album features 19 live tracks with a total runtime of approximately one hour and 29 minutes. The setlist includes reimagined versions of SB19 hits such as “GENTO,” “Mana,” and “I WANT YOU,” alongside highlights like the opening track “What?,” a vocal-swap rendition of “Bazinga,” and the first live performances of Simula at Wakas EP songs including “DAM” and “DUNGKA!” The arrangements were created specifically for the kickoff show, with expanded instrumentation and new transitions tailored for the large-scale venue.

Ahead of its release, Simula At Wakas: Kickoff Concert Album recorded over 99,000 pre-saves across major streaming platforms, reflecting strong anticipation from fans. Following its midnight launch, the album quickly rose to No. 1 on the iTunes Philippines Albums chart and began charting internationally, including an appearance on New Zealand’s iTunes Albums ranking.

On social media, hashtags such as #SaWKickoffConcertAlbum and “SB19 SAW CONCERT ALBUM” topped Philippine trending lists as fans organized streaming parties and shared clips from the live recordings.  Online discussion has centered on the updated vocal arrangements, particularly for tracks like “Moonlight” and “I Want You,” as listeners revisited moments from the Philippine Arena performances.

The album is now available for streaming on platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Deezer, with digital purchase options offered via iTunes, Amazon Music, Qobuz, and 7Digital.

The release also comes ahead of SB19’s announced finale concert, Wakas at Simula: The Trilogy Finale, scheduled for April 18, 2026, at the SMDC Festival Grounds. The upcoming show is set to officially close the Simula at Wakas era, positioning the kickoff concert album as a key record of the group’s milestone chapter.
