SB19 to take the stage at Grammy Museum before Lollapalooza

The latest look at the animated film teases a friendship-driven adventure inspired by Filipino mythology.

P-Pop powerhouse SB19 continues to make history for Filipino music as they are set to appear at the Grammy Museum ahead of their Lollapalooza stint in July.

“The Grammy Museum is thrilled to welcome SB19 for an evening of conversation about their upcoming music, career, and more, along with a special performance,” the Los Angeles-based museum said via its website.

The Kings of P-Pop will perform for Global Spin Live on July 28, whose tickets are said to have sold out within a minute of officially becoming available to the public. The live event, held in conjunction with Grammy Studios, is an extension of the online series, Global Spin, which celebrates international music artists.

For Grammy Museum, the quintet, composed of Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, is a “multi-awarded” act, widely recognized as “pioneers of modern P-Pop.”

“Since their debut in 2018, the group has become one of the most influential acts in Southeast Asian Music, amassing over 1 billion career streams worldwide and cultivating a passionate global fan base known as A’TIN,” it said.

SB19’s appearance at the Grammy Museum will be moderated by Emily Mei, who previously hosted the session for another P-Pop girl group, BINI, when they were featured back in April.

This new milestone by the five-member Filipino boy group happens just days before they are set to become the first homegrown talent to grace the Lollapalooza in Chicago, one of the largest global music festivals, on July 30. In August, they will head over to Japan to perform at this year’s Summer Sonic Festival alongside BINI.
