SB19’s “Moonlight” Lands on European Space Agency Playlist

SB19’s “Moonlight” joins Spotify’s ESA-curated “Music for the Moon,” bringing P-pop to a global, space-themed sonic lineup.

P-pop is going interstellar—and SB19 is leading the charge. The group’s track “Moonlight” has officially been added to Spotify’s “Music for the Moon,” a playlist curated by the European Space Agency.

SB19 is now part of a sonic universe designed to accompany humanity’s fascination with space exploration. The playlist, which blends atmospheric, futuristic, and celestial-themed tracks, is part of ESA’s initiative to connect music with the wonder of outer space in honor of the success of the latest Artemis II project.

The SB19 song joins the moon-themed roster of tracks from various artists, including “Blue Moon” by The Mavericks, “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra, “Moon River” by Frank Ocean, “Under the Cherry Moon” by Prince, “Dancing with the Moonlight” by Scorpions, “Mr Moonlight” by The Beatles, and more.

Known for its sleek production and dreamy tone, the song captures that exact in-between feeling: grounded yet reaching for something bigger. It’s a sonic match for a playlist built around lunar missions, stargazing, and the quiet vastness of space.

For SB19, this marks yet another global milestone. From breaking into international charts to representing Filipino music on world stages, their inclusion in an ESA-curated playlist signals how far P-pop has traveled—literally and figuratively.

Originally released in 2024, SB19’s “Moonlight” is a collab track with Ian Asher and Terry Zhong, blending atmospheric elements with the group’s cosmic production and silky musicality. The track was later reworked for SB19’s Simula at Wakas: Kickoff Concert album, becoming a staple song amongst A’TINs, the group’s fans.

Visit and stream ESA’s playlist and feel the astronomical vibes even from thousands miles away.
