Blockbuster icons Nadine Lustre and Alden RIchards is set to take the kilig to a whole new level as they team up for an upcoming Viu exclusive series ‘Love, Siargao

In a collaborative Instagram post of Viva Artists Agency, Sparkle GMA Artists Center, and Viu, the project was made official on Wednesday, January 14 featuring a photo of Lustre and Richards.

The project unites Richards and Lustre for the first time on screen. Joining them in the cast of the series is former K-pop group Golden Child member Choi Bo-Min. 

Coming in the second quarter of 2026, this series is set against the wondrous island of Siargao, According to lore, visitors to the island either never leave or fall hopelessly in love — and in this story, that mystical pull becomes real for the show’s leads as main characters Kara (played by Nadine Lustre) and Jao’s (played by Alden Richards) lore unfolds.

Fans and netizens were quick to come up with various “ship names” after seeing the chemistry of the two.

“AlDene or NaDen? hahahaha” one commenter quipped. 

More details about the project are expected to be dropped in the coming weeks. 

Nadine Lustre recently starred in one of the entries for the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival entry Call Me Mother and was nominated as Best Suporting Actress for her role as Mara de Jesus, while Richards reprised his role as Ethan del Rosario on Hello, Love, Again in 2025.
