KATSEYE has been the center of all types of attention for the past months. The buzz around the girls seems to heighten when member Manon (full name: Manon Bannerman), through a joint statement from HYBE and Geffen, announces her temporary hiatus to focus on her health and wellbeing. 

In a recent Weverse live of KATSEYE member Lara, the singer spent time with fans and even sang snippets of pop stars Ariana Grande and Zara Larsson’s songs. She then talked about the hate comments that’s being directed towards the members.

“There’s obviously been so much chatter…so many things getting twisted.” Lara stated during the live. She went on to defend her members by saying, “Things like all six of us have done, things we haven’t done that apparently get twisted into something we did do, so many false narratives, very harmful false narratives.” The KATSEYE member concluded by mentioning that such comments are “not even worth the time to think about, address, and clear up.”

This certain clip of the live has reached different social media platforms, with EYEKONS showing their support for Lara and applauded her for speaking up. From hashtags to fan posts, it’s evident that EYEKONS’ love for the group is unwavering.
