Virgo season is officially here. From August 23 through September 22, the earth sign will be our assigned main character, bringing its signature mix of detail-oriented focus, quiet introspection, and grounded charm.

Aside from trusting to our localized FYP and consulting our tarot-reading friends about stars for astrological predictions, ZEEN is using the Virgo season as an excuse to curate an unofficial soundtrack. 

Miguel Vergara (August 26) — “Unang Kilig” by BINI

Miguel gets BINI’s “Unang Kilig,” a track that sits squarely in the sweet spot between curiosity and first-crush butterflies. Amassing over 10 million streams on Spotify, the song feels especially fitting for a young actor growing up under the public eye. It captures an earnest, uncomplicated kind of kilig that feels relatable and refreshingly grounded.

Ralph De Leon (August 30) — “hulog” by KAIA

Ralph’s Virgo season kicks off with a track all about the dizzying, uncontrollable feeling of falling in love. Released as a fan-favorite single, KAIA’s “hulog” captures the giddy, helpless realization of falling for someone just like how we feel every time we see Ralph on our screens. 

It serves as an easy, lighthearted soundtrack to Ralph’s youthful, romantic screen presence, leaning into straightforward charm without overthinking the premise.

Charlie Fleming (September 7) — “Palayo Sa Mundo” by Arthur Nery and Jolianne

While Charlie’s public presence online is often bubbly, playful, and expressive, there is a gentle, comforting warmth beneath the surface that makes “Palayo Sa Mundo” an ideal match. 

Built on lines like “Palapit sa ‘yong yakap, palayo sa mundo / Tumatahimik ang isip, tumatahan sa’yo,” the acoustic track exudes a safe, peaceful sanctuary. It offers a quieter, more grounded soundtrack to Charlie’s character, leaning into the soft-hearted side that fans appreciate.

Ashley Sarmiento (September 12) — “Kabisado” by IV OF SPADES

Ashley gets “Kabisado,” a track that injects groove and funk into the Virgo lineup. Peaking inside the Top 10 of the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 chart, IV OF SPADES’ track centers on knowing something by heart (kabisado). 

Virgos collectively tend to memorize details about people they deeply value and tend to be a “just because” person and Ashley, as a Virgo herself, exudes the “gift giver” energy as a friend.

Pablo (September 14) — “Abelyana” by Maki

Pablo’s piercing focus matches the vulnerable, introspective tone of Maki’s “Abelyana”. The track carries a quiet emotional weight that feels natural for an artist whose work revolves around putting complex thoughts into words. 

As SB19’s leader and primary songwriter, Pablo is no stranger to turning personal observations into major anthems, making “Abelyana” the ideal soundtrack for when the noise fades and internal thoughts take over.

BINI Colet (September 14) — “paruparo” by syd hartha

For Colet, “paruparo” represents a meeting of minds between two young Filipino artists who value simple, meaningful expression. Syd Hartha’s track offers a delicate contrast to Colet’s powerful vocal delivery and high-energy stage presence in BINI. Beneath the large-scale performances lies a songwriter who connects deeply with emotion, and “paruparo” gives that reflective side a platform.

Will Ashley (September 17) — “dahon” by justin

There is a quiet synergy in pairing Will Ashley with “Dahon,” the solo single from SB19’s Justin. Built around lush foliage imagery and gentle romance, the track reflects on personal growth, transition, and remaining rooted. 

As Will continues expanding his career from acting into music—gearing up for his debut album launch at the SM North EDSA Skydome this September—the song serves as a fitting anthem for a creative stepping into his next chapter.

Virgo season may carry a reputation for structure, precision, and relentless planning—but these pairings remind us that even the most grounded stars need a soundtrack for falling, changing, and finding their way.
