Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition runner-up and rising screen actor, Will Ashley is taking on a new role as a recording artist.

The multi-hyphenate artist makes his music debut with “Paborito,” released under StarPop. The track quickly found an audience, reaching No. 1 on the iTunes Philippines Top Songs Chart after its release

Co-written by Ashley, singer-songwriter and Will’s close friend Maki, alongside StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos, who also serves as the song’s main producer, “Paborito” centers on the rush of falling for someone and the simple things that make a person a favorite. The song exudes a light, conversational pop sound, with lyrics that draw from the way people generally talk about romance and crushes.

“Paborito” also opens the door to Liham, Ashley’s upcoming debut album. Framed around the idea of an audio love letter, the album brings together his experiences and perspectives through songs about love and relationships.

The project adds another layer to Ashley’s career, which has largely been shaped by acting. He has appeared in projects including Bar Boys: After School and Love You So Bad, while his run on Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition introduced him to an even wider audience.

“Paborito” is available on major digital music platforms, while its official lyric video is streaming on Star Music’s YouTube channel.
